Accommodation Features
This beautifully decorated self catering cottage, although next to the owner’s privately owned home, has its own private entrance with guest parking on the premises right infront of the entrance to the cottage. The entrance from the parking area leads to the cottage’s outdoor braai area where guests can enjoy a traditional South African braai (BBQ)! From there the tiled area lead to the cottage’s front door.
 
  
The ground floor consists of an open-plan lounge, kitchen, a single bedroom and full bathroom. The lounge is furnished with 2 couches, TV (full DSTV) and a single bed. The kitchen is fully fitted with microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, dish washer and iron & iron board.
Under-tile-heating is fitted throughout the cottage, including the bathroom. This makes the cottage warm and cozy in the cold Cape winters.
From the ground floor a wooden staircase leads to the main bedroom, fitted with a queen size bed & TV (full DSTV). It has its own en-suite and opens onto a spacious balcony that overlooks gardens with the Helderberg, Stellenbosch and Hottentots Holland mountains on the horizon. This room is air-conditioned.
Free Broadband Internet is available via WiFi or network cable (RJ45 type jack, cable can be provided). A notebook (with WiFi) is also available for rent at a nominal additional fee.
